The Washington State Department of Health (DOH), which sponsors SmokeFreeWashington.com, is committed to protecting your privacy. You are not required to register or provide any personal information to use the site and we will never give or sell any personal information you choose to provide to a third party, except if required by law.
Information you choose to provide
You may choose to provide information by submitting a comment or suggestion about a restaurant, reporting a violation of the Smoking in Public Places Law, signing up to receive updates from SmokeFreeWashington.com, or requesting materials from the DOH. All of these submissions are voluntary. By submitting your contact information, responses and photos, you may be contacted by the Department of Health in the event the Department of Health is interested in learning more about you decision to go smoke-free. No user will be subscribed to an e-mail list without specifying so on their submission form. If you choose to receive updates from SmokeFreeWashington.com, you will be sent an e-mail communication at the address you provide. Directions to stop all future communications will be included in each email. Please see "Unsubscribe" section below for additional information.
Visitors under the age of 13 are not allowed to submit personal information in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and submissions from those under 13 will not be recorded or stored in the database.
In addition, the site is in compliance with section 508, which requires Web sites to be accessible to people with disabilities.
Information automatically collected and stored
